Muskegon Hare Scramble race report - Jordan

In the District 14 series, we got to go back to Muskegon to race. They have not had a hare scramble there since 1999. At the starting line there was only 2 of us in our class, so in the start the two of us were close on the motocross track, once we got into the woods I was able to pull away from him. After a section of woods there was a hill that many people had trouble on. When I got to it this hill I made I up clean, at the top I met up with my dad who started ahead of me. We raced for a while the he let me go. With about a ½ hour to go I was feeling a little tired and then my dad caught and passed me back and beat back to the finish. At the end of the race I got 13th overall and 1st in my class.
